I am a Boston based furniture maker, and a member of Charlestown Furniture Makers collective. I work with clients in Massachusetts and beyond.   I build custom furniture that will fit your home and style.

I hail from from Anchorage Alaska.  In 2006 I came to Boston to attend Boston University.  After finishing my undergrad degree I worked as a research tech in a Neuroscience Lab at MIT.

I've always enjoyed building and tinkering with things.  After college I began taking upholstery classes in Boston.  Eventually I decided I'd had enough of taking apart and reupholstering old chairs, I wanted to build a chair of my own.

I began taking courses at the North Bennet Street School.  Within a year of that first class, I had enrolled in the full time Furniture Building course.

During my two years at NBSS I studied under the master craftsmen that teach there.  I learned to cut dovetails, to veneer, to carve, to turn, and to shape.  I studied construction techniques from period pieces, and got to study several pieces up close.

I built a variety of styles and types of furniture during my time at NBSS.  I wanted to make sure I broad education that would serve me well both in contemporary design, and in reproducing historical pieces.
